About Love & Wisdom Inc.

I’m Philip Lingle, Founder of Love & Wisdom Inc., and I love what I do! I married my first couple in 2007, but I started my career as a wedding officiant shortly after I got married to my beautiful bride in 2011. It was such a blissful occasion, and we still revel in the magic of our wedding day. One thing I realized as we were preparing for our big day was that we did not have a lot of options for non-traditional wedding officiants. And we wanted someone who would also focus on the future of our relationship together, beyond the joyful moment of our transition into marriage.

That’s why I founded Asheville Marriages in 2012, Charlotte Marriages in 2018, and then merged and rebranded as Love & Wisdom Inc. at the end of 2020. As such, we have extended our reach in order to help even more couples across the country.

Along the way, we have helped over 1000 couples, received tons of 5-star reviews, and partnered with some of the industry’s top professionals. We have earned a reputation for being reliable and easy to work with, as well as delivering a high standard of service every time.

Our vibrant team of wedding officiants share the grand vision of spreading love and wisdom, locally and globally, in order to contribute to the world in a positive way. Our mission is to put heart and soul into every ceremony and create wedding day experiences that transcend and transport. And we are dedicated to providing the tools that couples need to help them extend their gratification far beyond the wedding day, and forge a happy and lasting marriage.

The officiants who work with me at Love & Wisdom Inc. are ordained by nationally and internationally recognized groups, and everyone is legally qualified to conduct marriage ceremonies. We bring to the table a diverse set of spiritual beliefs, but we are not traditional ministers who have a church or congregation. While we do not typically perform traditional religious weddings, we honor and respect all people regardless of spirituality, race, or sexual orientation, and we gladly include religious elements when requested. We believe that love is love, and we proudly support marriage equality, human rights, and social justice.

It would be an honor and a privilege to work with you, and we look forward to creating an experience that you will cherish for a lifetime!
