her first wedding in 2016 — a life-changing moment sparked by her sister’s belief in her ability
to speak about love with authenticity and depth — Dena has been devoted to helping couples
create meaningful, memorable experiences that celebrate connection in all its forms.

Based in Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach, NC, Dena draws on a rich and diverse background
that includes a Master’s degree in Literature, a 100-hour meditation teacher certification, and
professional experience in marketing, photography, and international business. Her broad
worldview and spiritual grounding allow her to hold space for couples from many walks of life,
honoring a wide range of beliefs, traditions, and personal journeys. She approaches every
ceremony with compassion, creativity, and a genuine love for storytelling.
Dena also specializes in unique salt ceremonies, using intentionally hand-crafted salt gathered
from the oceans of Wrightsville Beach inspired by Earth sciences and the ancient art of alchemy.
Through this practice, she weaves symbolism, intention, and natural elements into celebrations,
creating experiences that feel both timeless and deeply personal.
