Graveside Gathering Package – $575
This package is to hire a celebrant for an end-of-life celebration that takes place outdoors at the burial plot. Graveside services focus primarily on the burial, and provide a direct connection to the final resting place. These services are typically less formal, more intimate, and shorter than a funeral home service. They often include just final blessings or farewells, but they may also include short readings and a eulogy. Graveside services can even happen after a separate funeral home service, and they allow for committal of the casket into the ground. These celebrations may be less accommodating for large crowds or those with mobility issues, and of course they are subject to weather conditions.

Professional End-of-Life Celebrant
Our warm, friendly celebrants are carefully vetted for their experience, compassionate energy, and ability to craft meaningful end-of-life ceremonies. After you submit your inquiry form, you'll have the option to connect with your matched celebrant before booking to ensure it's the perfect fit.
In-depth Questionnaire
The first step after booking your celebrant is completing a detailed questionnaire about your loved one's essence and legacy wishes. Your celebrant will review this, then you’ll have the chance to collaborate further via in-person meeting or video call.
In-person Meeting
Once you have completed the in-depth questionnaire, your celebrant will schedule a meeting, preferably in-person but also available via video call. During this time, your celebrant will learn more details about your loved one's life story, values, and the perfect way to honor their memory.
Custom-Crafted Ceremony
Your celebrant will co-create the celebration with you and your loved ones, weaving in cherished personal stories, music, readings, and rituals. They’ll guide you in shaping every element into a beautifully personalized experience that truly reflects and celebrates your loved one's life.
Officiating the Service
On the day of the ceremony, your celebrant will arrive early to assist with final preparations before officiating the heartfelt celebration-of-life service.
Comfort & Guidance
By truly listening, offering gentle guidance, and showing compassion, your skilled celebrant helps loved ones process their loss while celebrating their cherished connection.
Grief Support Resources
Love & Wisdom and your celebrant can both provide quality grief support resources tailored to your specific needs as you and your family navigate the grief journey.
Travel Fee
When applicable, a travel fee for your celebrant will be calculated depending on location and drive time. We always try to match you with a celebrant who will be close enough to your venue to avoid this fee, but that is not always possible. The travel fee will be included in your quote after you request it here.
Holiday Fee
We can usually accommodate holiday services, but in order to compensate our celebrants for missing out on plans with family and friends, we charge an additional fee of $100 if the end-of-life celebration falls on one of the following days:
- New Years Day & Eve
- Valentines Day
- Easter
- Memorial Day
- 4th of July
- Labor Day
- Halloween
- Thanksgiving & Black Friday
- Christmas & Christmas Eve
