Philip Lingle, Founder of Love & Wisdom, is an end-of-life celebrant with a gift for creating ceremonies that celebrate life and give comfort during times of loss.

Philip’s journey to becoming an end-of-life celebrant began with officiating weddings, where over the past thirteen years he developed a reputation for crafting heartfelt ceremonies that truly capture the essence of each couple. As time went on, his empathy and talent for public speaking led friends and family to request his services for memorials and funerals as well.

Having experienced the loss of his father at a young age, Philip brings a personal understanding to the delicate process of honoring a loved one’s memory. It is, in part, this early insight into the grieving process that helps him to guide families through the task of saying goodbye with grace and sensitivity.

During ceremonies, Philip seeks to foster a healing atmosphere for all in attendance by maintaining a calm, thoughtful demeanor. While he operates from a non-religious perspective, he respects and can incorporate diverse cultural and spiritual elements to honor the beliefs of the deceased and their loved ones.
